3 authors Marijana Vrančić:
- Teacher in elementary school Prečko in Zagreb, in addition to classes she is leading extracurricular activities - students' cooperative ZIP -Zadrugari from Prečko. Professional interest is focused on the implementation and development of entrepreneurial learning in primary school. Mrs. Vrančić continuously examines the possibility of new forms and methods of learning based on the principles of student cooperatives. Zdravko Tkalec: - Experience as a teacher and as a vice dean for development and quality at the University College Nikola Subic Zrinski. - He is one of the creators of educational projects aimed at the development of entrepreneurial competence in primary schools, kindergartens and vocational schools. He is particularly interested in the school assessment of knowledge and determining educational outcomes. He worked on implementation of international projects related to student cooperatives and student training companies.

4 Before the development of the handbook
Questionnaire for research into current entrepreneurial competences and digital skills of pupils and teachers The survey involved a total of 127 teachers and 257 pupils (7th and 8th grade) from 3 primary schools: Elementary school Vladimir Vidrić, Kutina Aleko Konstantinov Primary School, Dimitrovgrad School Lyuben Karavelov, Dimitrovgrad

5 Some of the Interesting results
Almost all teachers in both countries have agreed that entrepreneurship should be an important part of education, but that current curriculums and programs are not coordinated with the needs of pupils 72% of teachers thought that is certainly necessary to increase the number of hours of entrepreneurship programs in primary schools only 22% of teachers considers to be sufficiently trained, and 82% had never attended any form of professional training relating to entrepreneurship education.

6 Entrepreneurial competence
Entrepreneurial competence is defined as: an individual's ability to turn ideas into action. It includes creativity, innovation and risk taking, as well as the ability to plan and manage projects in order to achieve objectives. All young people should benefit from at least one practical entrepreneurial experience before leaving compulsory education.* *European Commission, 2012, “Rethinking education: investing in skills for better socio-economic outcomes”

7 Student cooperative In student cooperatives students acquire and apply knowledge, acquire work habits by learning, understanding, and then mastering the whole production process. The great positive meaning of student cooperatives is in its voluntary nature and quality of the implementation of programs and tasks. With a voluntary membership in a cooperative, a student undertakes to work in it in the best possible way.

8 Student cooperative Student cooperative as we know today is fostered and developed in the last fifty years and is extremely valuable, authentic Croatian model of practical learning that many generations of students made ​​the first work and business experience and laid the foundation of their professional orientation.

9 The manual - curriculum
This curriculum includes all parts of the organization and structure of students' cooperative of business ideas, through the registration of the cooperative, the elements of the curriculum, educational value and outcomes to the evaluation of educational outcomes. It will help all teachers in the establishment of cooperatives as well as its leadership. First step – building business ideas The business idea is the first step towards the realization of entrepreneurial dreams. The manual includes some of the most popular methods (or the business ideas) which can be found on the world wide web.

11 Students COOPERATIVE CURRICULUM
4.1 Educational goals: The curriculum of students' cooperative is an integral part of the school curriculum. It is achieved during the school year in the phases described in the Handbook (Page: 80) Learning for Entrepreneurship Preservation of cultural heritage Preserving nature Ecological food production

12 values Knowledge better understanding and critical thinking of himself and everything around him, managing new situations and success in life and work. Identity Education contribute to the building of personal, cultural and national identity of the individual. Responsibility Educated system encourages the active participation of children and young people in social life and their responsibility towards a global socially good, nature and work and to ourselves and others. Solidarity

13 4.3 Educational outcomes Entrepreneurial activities that can be grouped into three segments: a. Entrepreneurial thinking and theory of enterpreneurship b. Entrepreneurial action or ntrepreneurial skills c. Economic and Financial Literacy The curriculum includes listed segments in relation to the educational cycle: Cycle 1: 1, 2 classes; Cycle 2: 3, 4, 5 classes; Cycle 3: 6, 7, 8. classes.

Student cooperative Dalya (Dalj High School) Students involved in co-operative in 10 different sections, under the guidance of teacher mentors, develop their interests and skills, and acquire, deepen and apply biological, technical, economic, social and related knowledge in areas related to the entire manufacturing process, from planning to market and other ways of evaluating performance. Student cooperative includes 10 different sections, based on the agricultural organic production.
