Write the following examples of irony in your notebook. Label them as situational, verbal, or dramatic. 1. The audience knows the Titanic is going to sink but Rose and Jack do not. 2. There is a "No Smoking" sign at the cigarette factory. 3. "Sure, I want to go hiking in the mountains...with a broken leg.” 4. A fire station burns down. 5.  In Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, Marc Antony gives a speech in which he repeatedly refers to Brutus as "an honorable man," when Brutus just participated in murdering Caesar.
