Less stress on the Switches, Mosfets doesn’t block the voltage all the time. No extra Power Supply is needed. 1600 V Mos/IGBT Thyratron Trigger and 400V IGBT Thyratron Trigger Advantages: Simpler system. It`s not needed to trigger all the modules to recharge the capacitors.
