Attention Span: A measure of the amount of time someone can stay focused on a particular task, thought, or conversation without being distracted.
5
Longer attention spans usually make it easier for people to complete tasks and remain organized. A person’s attention span also affects social interactions; some people struggle to remain focused on conversations without becoming distracted or fidgeting.

Pornography Addiction Was 'Dirty Little Secret'
Terry Crews Repented, Overcame "Some people say, 'Hey, man ... you can't really be addicted to pornography.' But I'm gonna' tell you something: If day turns into night and you are still watching, you probably have got a problem. And that was me," said Crews. “Every time you look at pornography is a desire for intimacy,” he said. “You are trying to fight your feelings of being alone by filling it with pornography in an attempt to feel that you are with someone and you know someone. But the problem is pornography is an intimacy killer.” "It changes the way you think about people. People become objects. People become body parts; they become things to be used rather than people to be loved."

We chose the sin, yes, but we did not choose it with the consequences.
It came with promises of ecstasy and freedom. It did not come announcing that it would eat away at our self-worth. It failed to mention that it would destroy our ability to love others. It did not say that when it was done, it would leave us a shell of a person, barely breathing, and powerless. It did not warn that it would create a double life riddled with fear, uncertainty, and hopelessness. It did not let us know that once it had us, it would not let us go. No one chooses that willingly. The devil is a liar; he is a trickster. He preys on the weak. I was exposed to pornography at the age of 13 and if it had come with a warning label that read: “Danger: Consumption will result in a lowered self-esteem and a lost love for life” I am fairly certain this story would have ended differently. Instead, pornography came wrapped in a shroud of lies about being beautiful, appreciated, accepted, and loved. It did not have a warning label, but it was still poison.
