Aims: Prepare a basic risk assessment and discuss the ethical implications of your study. Produce a basic GANTT chart indicating the project plan.

Considerations for human and animal experimentations? Example YGKM - critical comments? Q. So what are the ethical considerations of your study? Draw up a list and be prepared to share with your peers.

Planning Your Project: Tools of the Trade
Planning your work (long-term): GANTT chart (=network diagram). Q. Why bother? A GANTT chart visually depicts a project schedule and work breakdown structure using an bar chart depiction. % completion can be tracked. Use the template available on Moodle.

TASK Draw up a realistic GANTT chart for your likely topic from now until May 2016. Step one: Identify your activity prompts and allocate a realistic time budget to each one. Step two: Now format your GANTT chart with labels for task, duration and times. When you are finished, ask your neighbour for comment.
