Characteristics They are well adapted to aerial life.
The body is streamlined , spindle shape and light due to hollow bone. The body is covered with feathers exoskeleton. The forelimb is modified into wings. The external part of mouth is developed into beak. These are warm blooded animals. They are unisexual , oviparous animals that hatch the eggs. Respiration through lungs. Heart has four chambered. Eg. Parrot , Owl , Kite etc.
