Problem Target user : UTM students
Our system is related to – parcel tracking Most students nowadays prefer online shopping instead of traditional shopping since there are limitation of transportation and time due to their pack schedule. Sometime, they tend to forget to retrieve their parcels at the college office since they have to constantly checked their parcels location, which is usually made online by entering tracking number at the courier’s website to check whether their parcels are already arrived or not. Next, when user want to retrieve their parcels, they must follow certain protocols which can be a burden to the student.
3
Usually, to retrieve parcels
firstly, students have to check their name first at the bulletin board at the college office If their name are on the list, means that their parcels has arrive and is retrievable. In order to retrieve the parcel, students have need to sign a confirmation form and give the staff their matric card for identification process. Only then parcels can be retrieved.
4
SOLUTION It can be solved efficiently by creating a mobile application that can track and collect your parcel easily on time, advertise it to targeted users, and is always up-to-date. So, we propose an application named ‘PacTrack’. First of all, there will be a section to track the user parcel by entering tracking number. In this section, students can track their parcel easily and always keep them up to date on their parcel’s status by receiving notifications. By doing so students can save time rather than having to go to the office and check their parcel most of the time. After user enter their tracking number at this section, this application will show status of their parcel.
5
Then, it will show the user the location of the parcel.
Secondly, user can retrieve their parcel manually or by using QR code. If the user retrieve the parcel manually, user must give tracking number to the staff to check for the availability of their item. There is another option, that is retrieving by QR code. The QR code is generated by this application. The uses of the QR code is actually to simplify the process of collecting the parcel. When the QR code is scan it will provide the details of the user which is used for confirmation for the staff.
6
For those who prefers online shopping, this application is surely the perfect solution for them.
By using this application, user can save their time for other activity rather than to waste their time to check their parcels at the office. This application can also save the tracking number and its status, all of this is shown in the history. Usually, this section is made for the user to claim or other purpose from the sender.

Paper Prototyping In this task, we had asked five volunteer to test our paper prototyping. At the end of the session, we gained a lot of feedbacks regarding our application. Feedback: Most of the user find it hard to go to the previous page since there are no back button. The user suggest that to add back button so that it is easy to go to the previous page.
8
Next, user also complaint about the logout button.
Whenever the user want to logout from the application, they need to back to home page. The user had suggest that we include logout button at the menu bar. Another feedback , we need to include confirmation box when to logout from the system.

Heuristic Evaluation To identify problems associated with the design of the user interfaces. Heuristic evaluation is informal methods of usability inspection. This usability inspection method does not require user testing which can be burdensome due to the need for users, a place to test them and a payment for their time By using heuristic evaluation, the number of design errors discovered by the user can be reduced.
10
Below are the set of heuristic evaluation with explanation for this application.
Consistency and standards Aesthetic and minimalist design User control and freedom Visibility of system status Match between system and the real world

User Testing Based on user testing that we had conducted, we observed that some of the users can complete the task easily. Only certain of them feels a bit hard and make a few mistakes but most of them done all the tasks within the given time. We accept all user’s comments and feedback in order to modify and upgrading our application to be more attractive.
12
Conclusion As a conclusion, we have encountered a lot of stuff just to make sure our prototype are able to running smoothly. If there is any problems, we will try to minimize it as best as we can. We had design this application according to the important step in the field of HCI. We hope that this application can give benefit to a lot of UTM student in their life. We as a UTM student, are very grateful have been given an opportunity to design our own application. If readers want to see more of our works and updates please visit our WordPress at
