1 Jobs that are disappearing but still needed
Zuzanna Szpurka

2 COBBLER Cobbler is a person who repairs and makes shoes.

3 IS THIS THE END OF A COBBLER’S JOB?
A few years ago people needed his help when their shoes were leaky or holey. Nowadays, however, people are bringing them to the shop in which they had bought them and want a refund or a complaint.

4 ADVANTAGES *a cobbler repairs shoes more precisely, *it’s cheaper to fix shoes than to buy new ones, *this is an unstressful job DISADVANTAGES *unsatisfactory wages for a cobbler, *a cobbler has to deal with customers and their complaints, *his job is monotonous

5

6 YOUNG PEOPLE SHOULD LEARN A COBBLER’S PROFESSION BECAUSE:
*they will get a new experience, *they may prevent disappearing of this profession, *this occupation may be an extra job so young people might earn extra money.

7 MY OPINION In my opinion a cobbler’s job is very useful. He gives shoes a second life. Moreover, people don’t have to buy a new pair of shoes and that’s how they save money.
