We read the stories Go Away Big, Green Monster and The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything. It was the perfect opportunity to discuss things that we are afraid of and then discuss how Jesus loves us and sends His angels to guard and protect us if we pray to Him. Just ask your child what they should do if they are scared, they’ll tell you. And how very sweet to hear them tell it in their own way! Teddy Bear Picnic- Next week our theme will be “Teddy Bears”. We will do many fun activities that have to do with bears. On Friday, we will end our “Teddy Bear” week by having a “Teddy Bear Picnic”. We are asking each child to bring their very own teddy with them to school on Friday, November 3rd. They will also come to school dressed in their pajamas! Please make sure they come in with street shoes on (they can bring slippers with them if they want to change into them once they get to school). Cottonwood Farm Field Trip: What a great time we had on our field trip. The students had so much fun petting the animals, going through the corn maze and talking a real hayrack ride! : Halloween Party- Just a reminder that your child is able to wear their Halloween costume to school on Tuesday. We will have our parade at 9:45am. Then the party will start in the classroom so after. If you signed up for any items please have them to us by Monday!
