Objective Seek BOE approval of MOA between HCS and NACA, allowing the establishment of a NACA flying area at Milton Frank Stadium.

Control-Line Aircraft

Control-Line Basics Tethered flying. Lines are 40 to 70 feet long.
Two flexible steel wires connected to plane and a handle held by the pilot.

North Alabama Control-Line Association (NACA)
Nationally chartered model aviation club. Charter #4369, Academy of Model Aeronautics. President: Tom Smiley

Safety AMA rules mandate a safety strap connecting handle to pilot wrist. Lines keep aircraft within flying circle. Aircraft would simply fall straight down out of sky if disconnected from tether. All NACA pilots compliant with AMA safety rules and liability insurance.

MOA Details Area delineated will not interfere with construction or operation. Access coordinated through HSC Operations (Security). Insurance verified. HSC paints lines. NACA obtains signage. Legal review complete. Begin site work upon BOE approval.
