Background and Profile
Background Established in Kansas City, MO in 1977 by a group of African American motorcycle clubs, the National Bikers Roundup (Roundup) is governed by bylaws created by the Motorcycle Clubs that attend the National Bikers Roundup. Profile Roundup is a prominent annual event among the multicultural motorcycle riding community. Eagerly anticipated by more than 1,000 motorcycle clubs (approximately 15-30K attendees) that attend each year, Roundup is viewed as the largest camping motorcycle rally in the country. The location changes each year and returns every 10th year to Kansas City, MO. Roundup is a family-friendly event with an accent on participation. It is viewed as the “Can’t Miss” motorcycle family-reunion type event of the year. The events and activities serve to unite the motorcycle community, celebrate accomplishments and rejoice in fellowship and camaraderie among the motorcycle riding community. Roundup has an outstanding record of generating favorable economic impact and in combating hunger with its annual charitable giving programs that benefit local food banks.
