5. Adjust placement of panels
By clicking on the gray strip at the top of each panel, you can move that panel, change positions or adjust the size to fit your needs.
You can easily move the panel back to its original spot by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting ‘attach panel’.

6. Audio and Video Panel
Use the Audio Wizard to configure your audio. Drop down menu provides additional setting
Arrow closes video screen
Adjust microphone
Adjust speaker on
Push to talk, push again to turn off microphone
Push to use video camera, push again to turn off camera
off

7. Participant Panel – Individual Permissions
Participants can view their permissions by clicking on the drop down menu to the right of their name. Those permissions with a red X are not available to the participant.

9. Participant Panel - Participant Profile
Create your profile for others to see (if teacher has given permission for student profiles)
PC: Edit > Preferences > Profile > My Profile
Mac: Blackboard Collaborate > Preferences > Profile > My Profile
Participants can see profiles of teachers (and others if permission has been given) when they roll over your name

10. Chat Panel
The drop down menu gives participants the options of which messages to make visible.
Private messages are in orange and indicate to whom the message was sent. NOTE: ALL messages, private and to the room can be seen by the teacher.
Different tabs allow participants to toggle between different messages.
