If it’s between 1-4 it rounds down, 5-9 it rounds up!
Look at the number directly to the right
Round to the nearest 10
Is it closer to 70 or 80?

Rounding decimals works exactly the same.
We’re looking at how many numbers are left after the decimal place.
Round to 1dp
Answer: 1.4
Now round to 2dp
We need to round this so there is just 1 number after the decimal
This number will either stay the same or round up
This number is the ‘deciding’ number
