9 Passive communication
Does not offer any opposition when challenged or pressured. Could easily be bullied or persuaded by peer pressure. a style in which individuals have developed a pattern of avoiding expressing their opinions or feelings, protecting their rights, and identifying and meeting their needs. As a result, passive individuals do not respond overtly to hurtful or anger-inducing situations.

12 Aggressive Communication
a method of expressing needs and desires that do not take in to account the welfare of others  A harmful communication style, aggressive communication can end up worsening social anxiety by making others view you more harshly. Uses hostility and can be seen as unfriendly when trying to communicate. Often seems over-bearing.

14 Assertive communication
ability to express positive and negative ideas and feelings in an open, honest and direct way. It recognizes our rights whilst still respecting the rights of others.   It allows us to take responsibility for ourselves and our actions without judging or blaming other people. BEST way to communicate because you are giving you opinion in a respectful, direct way.

16 Active listening It requires that the listener fully concentrate, understand, respond and then remember what is being said.

18 Paraphrasing express the meaning of (the writer or speaker or something written or spoken) using different words, especially to achieve greater clarity. Crucial for active listening to show you are processing what someone is telling you.

19 What are other ways to communicate?
Body language! Body language is a type of non-verbal communication in which physical behavior, as opposed to words, are used to express or convey information.

Opening your eyes wide? Surprised Opening your mouth wide? Surprised or in shock Snarling? Upset or mad Standing straight and tall? Confident, assertive Winking? Flirting What do these expressions mean?
