Log on to Windows Live Hotmail
Open your browser and go to your school portal or enter Enter your Windows Live ID and click Sign in. In the Windows Live home page click Mail.

Send an To send an , click New. An message window will appear. Enter the addresses of one of your Training Course participants in the To field and in the Cc field include another Training Course participant. In the Subject field, enter the subject of the message. Enter the message text below.

If this is the first time you have used your account, click on verify your account. Enter the characters from the picture and click Continue. Click Close.

You will see a confirmation that your has been sent. If you typed the addresses of your contacts, Hotmail gives you the option to add them to your Contacts so you can quickly send s in the future. Enter the First name and Last name of your contact/s. Click Add to contacts.

Click Reply. Only the sender of the will receive your reply. No one in the Cc field will receive your reply. Enter the reply and click Send.

Reply all to an email Click the email you want to reply all to.
Click Reply All. Everyone who also received the sent to you (named in the To and Cc fields), will receive your reply. Enter the reply and click Send.

Forward an email Click the email to forward. Click Forward.
When you forward an you specify the people in the To and Cc fields. The forwarded will automatically include any attachments that arrived with the original . Enter the message and click Send.

Alternatively click Calendar under Related places. If this is the first time you’ve used Calendar in Hotmail you will be asked to confirm your time zone from the drop- down list. Click Go to your calendar.

Click the Month tab and click the date for your meeting. To change the month click the arrows forward or back. Click the New drop-down arrow list. Click Event.

Enter the name of the meeting in the What field. Enter the meeting location in the Where field. Enter the meeting’s Start and End days and times. Click Add more details.

Click Invite people. Enter in the address of the person you want to invite to the event or click To. If you click To, in the People tab, check the boxes of the contacts you would like to send a link to, or check the Select All box. Click Close.

Click the Send Reminder drop-down arrow list. Click a suitable time to be sent a reminder for the meeting. Enter any other information you require and click Save. The meeting will now be displayed in your Calendar.

Create a category Click the Categories drop-down arrow list.
Click New category. In the New category box, enter the name of your distribution list. Tip: Name your group something descriptive and easy to remember.

To add new contacts, enter an address or any name from your contact list. When you’ve selected all the people for your distribution list click Save. You will return to the Manage categories screen.

Click the Options drop-down arrow list. Click More Options. In Manage your account, click Send and receive mail from other accounts. You can also access this from the Inbox. Click Add an account.

Click Add an account. Enter the address and Password of your account in the fields, then click Next.

Check the radio button to confirm where you want the additional account to go. If you check A separate folder, enter the name of the new folder in the field. If you check An existing folder, click the drop-down arrow list to select the folder. Check the radio button next to how you would like the unread messages for your account to appear. Click Save. Click Go to inbox.

You can check your Hotmail on your mobile when you’re out and about. To find information on how to access Hotmail from your mobile phone: Click the More drop-down list then click Mobile.

For most mobile phones: Enter mobile.live.com into your mobile device’s browser, and log in using your Windows Live ID. You are now ready to send and receive messages from your phone. You can also access your Windows Live Hotmail using SMS.
