Green Ribbon Schools Program
Based on three Pillars: 1. Reducing environmental impact and costs 2. Improving health and wellness 3. Implement environmental and sustainability education Isaac

The goal of the Green Ribbon Schools Program
“identify and disseminate knowledge about practices that are proven to result in improved student engagement, higher academic achievement and graduation rates, and workforce preparedness.”8 Isaac

Objective: To make the application seem more achievable and to break it up into clear actions, using Lincoln High School (LHS) as an example. Tasks: Meet with LHS teacher Sharill Luedtke Find out schools current application status Come up with actions to complete application items Send action plan to LHS Sam

Conclusion The video that we produced will demonstrate the positive effect that the Green Ribbon Schools Program can have on student’s: Attitude and relationship with the environment Enthusiasm toward environmental subjects Involvement with the surrounding community The resource list and model action plan will make the program more accessible Eric
