DON’T include the reason for leaving your last position Might have to address this in an interview DON’T include minor accomplishments May appear that you are padding the resume DON’T list all previous employment Recent – five to seven years Directly applicable to the position you are applying for

Should answer the employer’s question: “What can you bring to the job that others can’t?” Address it to the interviewer if possible Practice owner if you are unsure

One typeface Font size 10-12 Minimize the use of abbreviations and contractions Try to be concise Always check for grammatical errors
