Requirements For media production and industry practice
2
Product / Platforms The platform that will be used for my project is a website, this will feature; A gallery of images An interview video Potential links to social media This will means creating a base layer of how the website will be presented, and how it will work.
3
Budgeting This website will have to be budgeted.
This means that the software and equipment needed, should be accounted for within the budget so that the payments stay within the budget. This will reduce the risk of overspending and making a loss if this was in commercial business. The web space for my website will have to be paid for. So will the software subscriptions such as Premier Elements, Photoshop and other editing software. I already own a camera and its equipment so there is no hidden costs there.

Timescales The time given for this project is only a month. This means that I will have to find and dedicate time to producing my website. I will allow, per week, 2 hours of photography and the creating of visuals, 2 hours of research for the information and text content of my website. I will then give myself 3 hours a week to dedicate this time to putting the content collected together to add to my website. This means that I should have around 28 hours to complete my website, however, in the final week I will allow a full day to make sure that everything is in order and on track to the completion date of my website. After my website is complete, I will make sure that I regularly check online and through other sources for any updates and if there are any other visuals, that I update this on a regular basis (bi-weekly). It is important to keep to schedule so that my website is created to its best potential by the deadline so that it can represent my capabilities and what I am passionate about that relates to my apprenticeship and to Brighton as a digital hub. I will also need to take into account the time for any adjustments given to me by my assessor so that I can gain the highest marks possible and so that I can show everything that I can do and produce.

Personnel / Contributors
I will ask for help from my personal friends, and from people within my training group at Creative Process. I will need the help from Luke Smith to help me create an interview where I will be interviewed explaining what it is that makes my apprenticeship so appealing and what it is like to work within the creative sector and what Brighton is really like as a digital hub. This will be because I will need help setting up the camera and sound recording equipment so that it is of a high standard. Due to recording within a public place, I will have to ask the permission of a restaurant manager, whether it is okay to record within their establishment so that I keep with in the legal restrictions given. My photo shoots, mostly will be of people naturally and no one specific, however I will invite my gymnastic friend to be photographed within Brighton in various locations as a part of my contribution visually about photography comparisons based on other famous and renown photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson. I will also have training and help from my assessors at Creative Process and so that needs to be taken into consideration too, as to when the work will need to be marked and adjusted with potential need for help and assistance. Anyone who contributed and helped me create this project will be credited, mentioned and/or attributed within my site somewhere.

Facilities As mentioned in previous slides, I will need the use of sound recording equipment which will be hired out of Creative Process, as that is where I was trained and educated in how to use the equipment. I will use my own personal camera, tripod and software. This means that my work can be edited and created at home on my personal computer, rather than just relying on the time once a fortnight at Creative Process. The backdrop and props that will be used within the interview will be used with the permission of the restaurant manager. This means that I will have to go by their rules and regulations. I will need to use Premier Elements to edit and piece together the audio and visuals of my interview. This will most likely take a day to complete to the best possible outcome. I will need to use Photoshop to edit and create my visuals, this includes the photographs, logos and titles for my website. Most software and equipment will be sourced in house that is already available to me, whether that is through Creative Process or whether than includes equipment, locations and software that I personally own at home.
7
Content and assets The content that I will need to collect will be the personal information and technical information, based on photography on; Josh Cole Henri Cartier-Bresson And other photographers that can be found listed on my WordPress blog. The assets that I will collect will be from Creative Commons and what is my own photography and videography so that there is a variety and contrast of visuals. The content will include: Why they are famous photographers What makes their photography so strong What it is that I personally enjoy How it relates to Brighton as a digital hub How I can take influence from them The thought and meaning behind the photographs What can be learnt from these photographers technically.
8
Content and assets The audio that I will use will be either what I have recorded and sounded myself, or what I have personally bought from a source such as iTunes so that I can use the audio where I need to. Another source is that I could get my talent musical friends to record their work so that I can use it as background music or interactive sounding throughout my website.

Contributors I will have the help from Shane Speed, from Creative Process to help me create and understand Photoshop and Premier Elements in a fuller extent so that I can create effective content for my website that will keep an audience interested and entertained.

Codes of practice and regulation
To keep within the law, anywhere public that could be seen as advertisement, such as shop windows that are obvious focal points, will need permission to use within content. Any photographs where there are prominent people, will need permission from these people to be able to use these images as to whether or not it is okay with them. If I collect photographer images, the person who owns the rights to the image, I will have to ask permission. If they ask for crediting or any kind of attribution, then by law, I have to accept this if I am to use the visual.
12
Health and safety Where health and safety is involved this will include for me; No dangerous filming in risky locations Any restricted areas are to be avoided when filming. To treat all equipment safely and how it should be, treated with care When photographing, make sure that the place and people who are involved are happy, comfortable, and when looking through the lens, then there isn't any risks of slips, trips and falls.
