3. 1. The Core Duty of All Christian Believers
In Matthew 28: Jesus Christ summarizes the core duty of the church by given us what we called the great commission that we should make disciples of every nation.

4. Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and have the faith of Jesus.”

5. 2. The Absolute Authority of Jesus Christ

6. John Wesley said… "Give me hundred men who fear nothing but God, and who hate nothing but sin, and who know nothing but Jesus Christ and Him crucified and I will shake the world."

7. The Greek word exousia translated "authority" here denotes "authority, absolute authority."

8. Christ announced to the disciples "Peace be to you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you“ (John 20:21)

The importance of the great commission is to go into all the world making disciples of the nation’s, preparing souls for the judgment of God and to wait in the assurance of the second coming of Christ. Unless we are to go unto all the nations and preach the good news, how shall they hear except one is sent?

“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent?”

13. Preaching and teaching about the good news of Jesus Christ should be the responsibility of the total membership of the Adventists both the clergy and laity.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry”
