Connecting with God —through his Word
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4 Jesus breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit”. John 20:22

The Rice Experiment Take three recycled jars and sterilize them.
Cook rice (jasmine rice was used and did not use salt when cooking it) Divide evenly between the jars, seal and label them. Everyday talk to the rice: good things to the ‘nice rice’, bad things to the ‘bad rice’ and ignore the ‘what rice). Do not take off the lids and keep them in them together in the same environment.

Meditate, Personalise, Proclaim
Ephesians 1:17-20 “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you… the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know… the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe”.

Ephesians 1:17-20 I declare… that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, is giving me a spirit of wisdom and of revelation so that I may know him better. I declare… that the eyes of my heart are being enlightened, so that I may know… 1. the hope to which he has called me, 2. the riches of the glorious inheritance I am to God as one of his saints, and 3. the immeasurable greatness of his power in me as I believe…

In the Spirit As you declare the scripture keep your spirit in tune to the Holy Spirit. If you feel God is emphasizing certain words or phrases in the passage repeat them several times. Be alert to receiving extra words from the Holy Spirit, i.e. words of prophecy!

When you’ve proclaimed them over yourself a few times, go
Proclaim your own ‘life scripture verses’ and release spiritual power, over yourself & others. Alternatively, use Ephesians 2:10 or John 15:16 When you’ve proclaimed them over yourself a few times, go and proclaim them over someone else!

Psalm 33:4-9 (NIV) 4 For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. 5 The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. 6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. 7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars[a]; he puts the deep into storehouses. 8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere him. 9 For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.
