10-year-old Mandy feels lost among all the other kids at the orphanage and she logs for a place to call her own. When Mandy climbs the walls of the orphanage, she finds a deserted cottage in the woods. Mandy starts spending more time at the cottage everyday. One day, Mandy goes to the cottage on a rainy day and gets very sick. Nobody knows that she’s there, except for a special friend that she never knew she had!

She has earned many awards such as a golden globe, Emmi, Grammy, BAFTA, Peoples’ choice award, and an Academy Award. She is also a well known author for her books: Mandy, The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles, and the Great American Mousical. Currently, Andrews is stil acting, in her more recent films: The Princess Diaries, and Shreck.
