7 Did we really want to export the lines/points/labels from Surfer? probably not...they already exist in omni. Turn off in surfer and re-export tiff, re-import into Omni.

8 NOTE: this does NOT embed your image into the omni project, but is just a link to the file. If you delete/rename the file, you'll get an load error when you are opening the omni project. It's not a fatal error: project will still load but without the image. ex: you copy the omni project to a different system- loading the project will not find the tiff file and you'll get a load error. NOTE: you don't need a georeferenced tiff...there are many ways in omni to correctly locate/georeference an image. Play around with it...try the initial placement wizard.
