Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 

4. Romans 4:6-8 
Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 
Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will
not impute sin.

5. there is no transgression.

Because the law
worketh wrath:
for where no law is,

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the

7. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin,
Galatians 3:21, 22
Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness
should have been
by the law. 
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin,
that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given
to them that believe. 

8. manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.
1 John 3:4-6  Whosoever commits sin transgress also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 
And ye know that He was
manifested to take away our sins;
and in Him is no sin. 
Whosoever abides in Him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen Him,
neither known Him.

9. for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:20 
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:
for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

10. If Satan can succeed in leading man to place value upon his own works as works of merit and righteousness, he knows that he can overcome him by his temptations, and make
him his victim and prey.

11. “The moral law was never a type or
a shadow. It existed before man’s creation, and will endure as long
as God’s throne remains.
God could not change nor alter one precept of His law in order to save man; for the law is the foundation of His government. It is unchangeable, unalterable, infinite, and eternal.
In order for man to be saved, and for the honor of the law to be maintained, it was necessary for the Son of God to offer Himself as a sacrifice for sin.
He who knew no sin became sin for us. He died for us on Calvary.
