Why use epoxy? It is mechanically stable and is not subject to shrinking tension. It is very strong and can be machined in a CNC. It allows the insulation of complex shapes not achievable with standard solutions

Epoxy Coating Products used:
Resodip Epoxy liquid system for insulation of rigid conductors. It has high mechanical resistance and good dielectric strength. Thickness range is between 2-6 mm. Maicro Elt Epoxy powder system for insulation of rigid conductors. High dielectric strength, temperature and thermal shock resistance make this product perfect for electrical insulation. PVC and Silicone Elastomer
Products used: Aliseal PVC 086/C PVC liquid system for the insulation of flexible connection and the production of coverings. Low cost, wear resistance and good dielectric strength make a fine combination to protect joints and connection both flexible and rigid. RTV Silicone liquid system for the insulation of flexible, connection and joint coverings. High temperature resistance and good dielectric strength are it’s strong points. Railway applications Why use our solution instead of cables?
Epoxy coated bars have a much higher active surface compared to cables. A coated bar is an item, which can be easily put in place. Epoxy can be applied easily on aluminium bars, that are much lighter and cost effective.

There are no junctions or seals on the coating, allowing a more compact and space saving design. Every single layer of the bus bar is itself a 100% insulated connection. Powder coating technology does not require expensive lamination assembly moulds or presses. Silicone elastomer has a good range of application. Its operative temperature range, good fire and smoke behaviour, tensile strength and dielectric strength give ample choice for its use. Semi-rigid and flexible coatings
While rigid coating is very good in many cases, there are a lot of situations where a flexible or semi-rigid coating is needed.
