Fall program – Coach fraser christie
Fall practice Schedule Practices start September 5 Fall practice is Monday through Thursday, and Saturday Times Mon – Thursday: rowers will gather in high school commons immediately after school Leave High sChool 3:15, travel to boathouse Practice will be 4 – 6 pm, then back to bus loop Rowers will be asked to stay in commons area until time to leave for practice. It is expected of the rowers to use the time to meet with teachers and/or complete homework. Saturday: 9:15 meet in bus loop, practice Fall regatta Schedule September 23 – Frog Town Regatta (Toledo, OH) September 30 – practice or scrimmage October scrimmage: Northville and cranbrook October 14 – Head of the grand, (lansing, MI) October 22 – practice or scrimmage October – The Leelanau Chase (Leelanau, MI) Sunday racing

Practice Attendance All practices are mandatory Only a parent or faculty member can excuse an athlete from practice Unexcused absences will result in the removal from competition What to bring to practice Practice Clothing Extra Clothing Water bottle and pre-post snacks

Fall Season dues - Due September 18 Returning rower $700.00 New/sibling rowers $375.00 Transportation fee $75.00 Pay rowing dues online – Select “Rowing Items” Select “Returning Rower Fee” or “First Season/Sibling rower fee” Pay the rowing fee amount online, not the transportation fee

Parent /rower contact information – Tammy Christen New contact forms are available Please see Tammy after the meeting if you are not receiving weekly s and information or her at Rent a rower – carol Wisner Rent a rower enables students and parents to earn money toward their rowing fees Credits are applied to dues only after we receive payment Amounts earned vary from job to job Watch for opportunities We are looking for a sophomore parent to help coordinate volunteer opportunities

Transportation – car pooling – sue stack Transportation for the season is provided by upper classmates Carpools are pre-arranged and it is very important to let your carpool know if you will not be at practice Students requiring transportation must: Complete the online transportation form - Make a check, payable to “Cash” for the $75 fee and turn this in to sue stack prior to season start Regatta Lodging – jeff cox Group hotels will be arranged for regattas that require lodging These reserved spots often fill up fast

Spectator Regatta Food $10 per Adult, $5 per child (non-rower) Payments must be made by 10:00 pm Tuesday for that weekend’s event Payments must be made on line at - Separate links for each regatta Regatta set-up and break-down Set up and break down volunteer opportunities available Quick link available on team site homepage
