2. The Project
You will be designing an original album cover for your favorite musician using Adobe Illustrator and or Photoshop
You will do some research before you begin the artwork
You will listen to your artist’s music while doing the research to get the feel for the entire album so that you can create artwork that reflects what the artist was trying to say in the music
You will create artwork for the front and back of the album cover, as well as the round label that will go on a fake album

5. Requirements
Your design must be original – it may not have any familiar qualities of any other album covers.
You will need to design the front and back of the album jacket.
You will need to design the inner circle label that will go on a fake round album that will be displayed sticking out of the album cover itself.

6. Requirements
The following items must be on the album cover (you figure out where to place them in the design)
The musician’s name
Name of the album
Track list of all the songs on the album
Website (fictional)
Release date (look to see if you can find the real date of release)
Special Bonus feature section (optional)
Design a logo for a fictional record label – use your name here

7. Requirements
You will use Adobe Photoshop for photographic images – look for high resolution images only!
Ask me if you don’t know how to do this.
You will use Adobe Illustrator to include graphic elements.
