In some organisations it may be possible to link this to clinical information systems
Specialist health librarians can work with IT teams to manage and develop access to guidance and protocols for a group of organisations working across a system, perhaps in an STP

Implementation tips:
Set up a group consisting of your qualified health librarian, clinician, information governance
representative and IT representative to devise a solution
Review in-house software solutions e.g. Intranet content management system, Sharepoint
Designate your qualified librarian as “guardian” of the locally agreed guidance and protocols and give
them responsibility to for managing the collection
