Baby orangutans are being stolen they want to sell them as pets to people for money.
Often people who keep baby orangutans don’t want them when there older because they get to big and so strong they make peoples houses a mess so they give them away for the money.
Tyler’s Line
Orangutans in the wild don’t live as long as orangutans in the hospital. Orangutans are meant to happily live their lives in trees but for Kesi this cannot happen because he is in captivity but it is for his own life to get saved. If Kesi does try to escape he will be in danger because Orangutans are an endangered species so poachers will be looking to kill every single one of them so they will be extinct.
