If you were at an archeology site, what would you look for? Why?

3. Day 2
Complete the questions from the handout, “Art of the Fertile Crescent” (p ).
Assign a symbol to each of the 26 letters of our alphabet. Use your sketchbook.

4. Day 3
We will take up the worksheet, “Prehistoric Art in Western Europe.”
We will watch the video, “Naked Science – Who Built Stonehenge?”

5. Day 4
We will take up the worksheets, “Art of the Fertile Crescent” and finish watching the Stonehenge video.
You will begin to complete the worksheet, “The Growth of Egyptian Civilization.”

6. Day 5
Finish completing yesterday’s worksheet, “The Growth of Egyptian Civilization.”
Complete the worksheet, “Egyptian Sculpture and Painting.”
Complete the following sketchbook activity for homework:
Draw a personal story in the style of the Egyptian wall paintings (see p figure 7.14 for inspiration). Remember to not use the rules of perspective (the Egyptians didn’t). Your drawing should be flat.

7. Day 6
We will take up the worksheets from yesterday (art of ancient Egypt).
