RAFT RAFT is an acronym to help us properly structure our writing
There are two RAFT acronyms: Whole Writing Piece Paragraph/Answer Form

Rationale Almost all RAFT writing assignments are written from a viewpoint other than the student’s, to another audience rather than to the teacher, and in a form different from the ordinary theme You are the expert who is writing to an audience who has no idea!

All authors need to consider various aspects before every writing assignment. Your writing is going to be structured around these elements: Role of the writer (R) Audience (A) Format (F) Topic plus a strong verb (T)

Used when answering a question States clearly an answer (main idea) while also giving clear examples (supporting details)
