History The Pastry of Spain is a specialized part of the Spanish cuisine relative to the elaboration of desserts and diverse sweets. The pastries have a historical tradition in Hispanic cuisine, in some occasions shows a great influence of the time and the use of almonds and the kitchen in the time in which the Spanish confectionery is really boosted. It is possible to think that a great part of the recipes were evolving later in Monasteries and Convents and in the Golden Age by means of secret secrets, sometimes united to the practice of the pharmacy.
