Frequency Table – a table that shows how often each item occurs in a data set.
Tally Mark – a mark used to keep track of data being counted.

4. Reading Frequency Tables
Mrs. Wright wanted to find out the favorite subject of her students. She used a Frequency Table to record her data.
How many students does Mrs. Wright have in her class?
ANSWER: 50 students
How many students chose Math as their favorite subject?
ANSWER: 13 students
How many more students preferred Science to Math?
ANSWER: 4 students
How many fewer students preferred Math to English?
ANSWER: 7 students.
