Georgia Robinson Laura Robinson Katherine Ross Cynthia Warner Developed AIDS Task Force (ATF) – Sept 1994 Women’s Missionary Society of Bethel in responded to the increase in incidents of HIV/AIDS in the city of Wilmington, Delaware and surrounding communities.

Spiritual Foundation (Acts 3:1-10)
BGOC Mission & Vision To eliminate the spread of HIV/AIDS and assist in the continuum of care for all people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Delaware. This is done by providing information, prevention strategies and outreach assistance that educates, empowers and contributes to the eradication of this devastating disease of HIV/AIDS. To create a community where every person infected and affected by HIV/AIDS is respected and supported. Spiritual Foundation (Acts 3:1-10)

Who BGOC serves BGOC primarily provides services to individuals in Wilmington, surrounding cities and states but does not exclude any location. 13 and older All services and programs are free and confidential Must have a valid photo ID for HIV testing Living with or affected by HIV/AIDS At risk women (Women in Support of Health)

What BGOC does On average, test about 100 people a month (1200-1400yr)
3 month window “Healthy You” Provides Free Health Screening (Blood pressure, glucose screening, BMI, Referrals) Implement over 25 different programs which many have been established since 1999 Food Closet Sunday Breakfast Outreach Team Massage Therapy H.O.P.E Program (HIV and Older Persons-prevention & edu.) Support Groups
