I left the session both excited and concerned - excited about the potential and seeing all the sectors working together (government, education, corporations), but concerned at what seemed to be a lack of focus on the “person’s needs” at the base level - what I’ve referred to in this deck as ’the human element’.

Federally qualified community health centers Community outreach people, leadership, health practitioners HOSA Members, Administrators, Leadership MRC Network Unit coordinators Community Members People within the community who can benefit from learning how to thrive Businesses concerned with employee thriving Companies of all sizes, industries, etc.

Core Jobs Equip community with means to find resources and support for health and well-being Build human relationships the area of ‘thriving’ (identify experts, programs, collaboration opportunities, etc.) Increase the rate of cross-sector collaboration (government, for profit, university, and NFP) Connect community members with others in the community Raise awareness of resilience issues in community, including the next generation Create opportunities for people to experience ‘ah-ha’ moments, make informed decisions, continue learning, and take control of their health and well-being Accelerate the implementation of solutions that can improve the lives of people

CH MRC – Short Summary CH-MRC is an organization that leverages existing networks to improve the health of nations and communities. We are a multi-disciplinary mix of professionals in the health, allied health and information technology sectors and beyond. The core philosophy of CH-MRC is collaboration. We envision a new era of improved health in nations and communities.
