What is Institutional Effectiveness?
A set of ongoing and systematic institutional processes and practices that include: Planning Evaluation of programs and services Identification and measurement of outcomes Use of data and results to inform decision-making Purpose is to improve programs, services, student success, and institutional quality.

CS 3.3.1.1 Educational Programs
Annual assessment of outcomes (PLOs and college-level competencies) Data is collected from all sections of the course(s) identified for data analysis. (traditional, hybrid, online, off-campus) Results must be reported in a disaggregated format. Results must include narrative on the plan to improve based on the analysis (action plan). Document the execution of the action plan the following year.

Program Review – internal review of programs to ensure course content and methodology meet the needs of the students and the community. Program Profile (mission, faculty, student enrollment, demographics, and trends) Program Content (curriculum) Outcomes Assessment (includes use of results) Need for Change (surveys, recommendations for improvement) Future Issues (resources needed for future efforts)

CS Administrative Support CS Academic and Student Support CS Community/Public Services Annual assessment of outcomes Unit goals (3-5 goals specific to your unit that are both operational and tactical in nature) Strategies (specify actions taken to address goals) Achievement targets (quantitative in nature) Results must include narrative on how you plan to improve based on your analysis . Document the execution of the action plan the following year. Unit plans must reflect support and service efforts at the off-campus locations.

Annual IE Dates Data for the academic year is due by August 31st.
New assessment year begins September 1st. Unit planning meetings occur in September and October. IE consults for Academic Effect October
