7. 2015 Ozone NAAQS Delayed by EPA
June 6th, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt announced it is extending the deadline by one year for the 2015 ozone NAAQS.
Reason for delay of the standard is a set of “complex issues that need further review.”
Goal to give states more time to develop air quality plans that meet the 2015 ozone standard of 70 parts per billion (ppb).

Going with “PreCautionary Approach” on tBAc and DMC and is not exempting these compounds in Rule 1168 for adhesive and sealant products.
Inclusion of Method 313 and ASTM D6886 in Test Methods.
Regulate Consumer Adhesives and Sealants used in an Industrial Setting despite California Air Resources Board (CARB) Jurisdiction.
