2. Activity since RP#54 part 1
RAN5#54 was held in Dresden, Germany over the period 6 – 10 Feb 12; around 85 signed the attendance sheet
Fredrik Sundström (Ericsson) was re-elected by acclamation, for the position of (RF) Vice Chair on the first day of the meeting – slide 4 refers
4xx non TTCN CRs were RAN5 agreed of which x were agreed after the meeting using the RAN5 review process (about 1.5%)
Of the non TTCN CRs, 1xx were UTRA and 2xx were LTE related; about a split UTRA/LTE
x non-TTCN CRs raised by TF 160 are going directly to the Plenary for approval (post meeting housekeeping)
In addition x5 TTCN CRs were RAN5 agreed using the normal agreement process
5 work items were completed at RAN5#54 and 2 WI proposals were RAN5 endorsed and are being presented for approval - slide 8 refers
Rel 10 Carrier Aggregation is gathering momentum with a number of CRs being agreed and the firming up of the work plan – slide 10 refers
The CR objected to by Verizon at RAN#54 (Dec 12) was resubmitted and agreed by RAN5 in Dresden without comment

3. Activity since RP#54 part 2 tbc
A TF 160 has developed virtually all of the LTE priority 1, 2, 3 & 4 test cases; progress as at 24 Feb 12 shown below;
FDD delivered out of 447, of which 346 are verified
TDD delivered out of 429, of which 277 are verified
Based on the most recent details of voluntary contributions, there is still an estimated 1x man month short fall to meet the 2012 task list
TF160 status report provides more details of the above to be provided in the presentation in RP later

10. Rel 10 Carrier Aggregation
CA conformance work started to progress in each area:
RAN5#54 updated the work plan (R ), which identifies 50 RF/RRM TCs and 17 Protocol TCs, but these figures will increase for RF/RRM due to RAN4 work
RRM TC work has started earlier than expected
General agreements
Signalling group finalised the TC work plan and assigned actions to the group for creating the test environment in TS
RF agreed on CA test space setup and will now move onto setting up actual test environment and discussing test details
RF group is aware there are upcoming minimum requirement additions with an increase to the number of TCs and potential impact to WI completion at RAN#58
Market demand to complete on time may require a specific purpose RAN5 ad-hoc to be arranged, probably in October
RAN5 work for Release 11 CA combinations may have an impact as well.
To summarise: the WI is at 10% with solid CR progress and framework/ad-hoc discussions; Status Report in RP refers
