Modern-Day Example: Text-to-World
In March of 2006, Duke Lacrosse players had a wild party with alcohol and adult entertainment. Later, one of the entertainers, Crystal Gail Magnum, an African- American woman, accused three of the white team members of raping her at the party. DNA samples were taken from all 46 white members of the team and not one of them could be linked to the sample taken from Magnum.
