The Common IMS SWG was attended by 17 delegates from 16 companies
eMMTEL work started (enhancements to TS ) (5%)
Contributions discussed during the meeting
One LS was sent to CT1 regarding the Applicability of PNM to MMTel
The eMMTEL WID was revised and it is presented to SA
Additionally, the already mentioned pre-Rel-8 documents were treed by the C-IMS SWG:
The new TS introduced in Rel-7 to transfer the TISPAN Services and Capabilities Requirements
The update of the Rel-7 WID about Maintenance of TISPAN release 1 common IMS
The LS to confirm to TISPAN the implementation of the transfer of the document
The Editorial modifications in Rel-8

22. CRS (85%) The CRS SWG was attended by 15 delegates from 15 companies
The work on TS was further progressed significantly, with 11 contributions. The following aspect were identified as subject of further elaboration:

24. User Data Convergence (30%)
The UDC SWG was attended by 22 delegates from 19 companies
The skeleton of the UDC TR was discussed and agreed by SWG
There were three input contribution agreed to be included in the UDC TR
An initial version of UDC TR 22.9de v0.1.0 was agreed by SA1

25. FS on enhanced voice service requirements (45%)
The EVS Requirements for EPS SWG was attended by 27 delegates from 22 companies
An updated draft of TR (v0.5.0) was agreed as basis for contribution
SA4 was informed of the progresses via LS including the revised version of theTR was sent ()
All document concerning sections “5 - Use cases”, “6.1 - General service requirements”, “6.2 - Backward service interoperability with pre rel9 3GPP networks and devices”, “6.3 Audio bandwidth” were handled by the SWG. But no consensus was reached on sections 6.1 and 6.3.
Due to lack of time, all contributions concerning TR after sections 6.3 were not handled.

(AI40-01) Target date for release 9 freezing:
SA proposed the target completion date for Release 9 to be December 2009 and a Stage 1 freeze date of December 2008.
SA WG1 were asked to report the feasibility of this freeze date to TSG SA#41.

SA1 confirmed at SA1#41 the target date of December 2009 (see dedicated section of this report for details

SA1 has discussed the issue, but more time to prepare the implementation is needed. SA1 officials tasked to make a proposal at the next SA1 meeting.

SA WG1 were asked to provide an updated version of the WID in TD SP with clearer target applications for TSG SA#41 meeting.

SA proposed the target completion date for Release 9 to be December 2009 and the target Stage 1 freeze date of December SA WG1 were asked to report the feasibility of this date to TSG SA# SA 1 has analyzed the status of the different WI respect to the December 2008 Target date (see next transparencies) It shall be noted that the core requirements were already finalized in the Rel-8 timeframe, so most of the SA1 work was already finalized and is part of the Rel-8->Rel-9 leftover stage 2/3 work
