3. INTERPRETATION
18% of our universe feels that air pollution is the major reason for environmental deterioration followed by climate change (15%) and traffic (14%)

5. Some of the measures taken include –
Around 60% of the people have taken measures to protect the environment whereas 40% are yet to do so.
Some of the measures taken include –
Planting trees on their birthdays.
Switching of lights and fans when not in use.

7. 62% of the people are willing to make personal sacrifices to protect the environment but, ironically, just 26% of them are ready to quit their job if it causes any harm to the environment.
72% of the people feel that the balance of nature is very delicate but 8% of the people feel that nature is strong enough to cope with all these activities.

9. 54% of the people have taken part in campaigns regarding protection of environment, 80% of the people buy energy efficient lights and around 90% of them save electricity buy turning off lights when unused, 60% of the people use public transport as well.
But, 60% of the people do not buy organic food and 64% of the people do not walk or cycle to work.
