2 Rehab Officer (or Rehab Group Supervisor)
Highlights from Snohomish Co. Fire Chiefs Rehab Guideline: Established by IC when conditions indicate rest and rehabilitation warranted Call sign REHAB May have more than one Rehab function depending on size/complexity of event Preferably a certified Paramedic (may be assigned other firefighters upon arrival) Normally a resource that functions under or within Staging Location to be determined by IC and Rehab Officer, and should; be large enough accommodate multiple crews allow for removal of PPE to facilitate cooling be far enough away from scene and hazards including vehicle exhaust

Personnel should be sent to Rehab: After use of 2nd 30 min. SCBA bottle After use of 1st 45 min. or larger SCBA bottle After 40 minute of intense work without SCBA When deemed necessary by IC, Company Officer or by Crew/ Team Leader

Duties include, but are not limited to: Ensure availability of essential Rehab resources (i.e. water, electrolytes, medical monitoring equipment, food, blankets, etc. Ensure medical care available and the rest, rehydration and accountability take place Ensure appropriate Rehab checklist is followed Ensure Rehab Record is completed for every individual entering and leaving Rehab Ensure that Rehab Protocol as stated on Rehab Record is followed for each individual entering and leaving Rehab

6 Staging Area Manager (Staging)
Highlights from Snohomish Co. Fire Chiefs IMS Guideline: Staging is defined as an area where personnel, equipment and miscellaneous resources are located for an incident. Staging area shall normally be located in a close proximity of an incident for rapid deployment of manpower and equipment. Staging area may have an officer assigned by the IC to record incoming and outgoing manpower and equipment

8 Base Area Manager (Base)
Highlights from Snohomish Co. Fire Chiefs IMS Guideline: Base is defined as an apparatus assembly area. Base shall normally be located in a close proximity of an incident for deployment of manpower and equipment in three minutes or less. Base may have an officer assigned by the IC to record incoming and outgoing manpower and equipment. If no officer assigned, first company in base answers for base. Apparatus at Base shall be parked as directed an manpower shall remain together for quick assignment
