Let’s Review Health consists of:
Physical health- eating right, exercising, getting enough sleep, getting proper medical and dental care Mental Health- how you feel about yourself and how you deal with day-to-day things Social Health- how you get along with others

Problem Solving When problem solving and making decisions, you must take into account all three aspect of being healthy. Think about how all three would be affected by the decisions you make in the following situations.

Situation #1 After school, you confronted by three good friends. One of them tells you that while he was in the bathroom, he found a couple of cigarettes and a lighter in a baggie. He asks you all to join him and try out smoking. Your other two friends decide that they are going to go with him. What is your choice. Again, think about the three aspects of health when making your decision.

Situation #2 You know that one of your friends has recently joined a gang. He seems happier than he has in a long time. He approaches you and tells you that if you join the gang, you will have access to alcohol, drugs, and girls. You know that your family would be heart-broken if you said yes. What do you do? Do you try to convince your friend of anything?

Self-Esteem Self Esteem refers to how much you like yourself or how good you fell about yourself. It is also referred to as self-respect. It is the key component to your mental health.
