Siddhartha is an Indian entrepreneur from Karnataka and is known as the founder of the chain of Cafe Coffee Day outlets Amalgamated Bean Company grows coffee in Chikmagalur and exports about 28,000 tonnes of coffee annually and sells another 2,000 tonnes locally for about 350 million each year His coffee growing and trading company alone has an annual turnover of 25 billion He was the first entrepreneur in Karnataka to set up a cafe in 1996 and now he has 1,550 Cafe Coffee Day in the country He was awarded entrepreneur of the Year title by the Economic times and Amalgamated Bean Company is the largest producer of Arabica beans in Asia exporting to various other countries

India’s largest restaurant search and food delivery start-up Zomato, started by these two Gurgaon based employees of Bain & Co. Zomato now has its presence over 23 countries including United Kingdom, Australia, United States, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia The service began as Foodiebay in 2010 and later was renamed to Zomato It gathers information from restaurants across the globe on a regular basis to ensure data is fresh, also food lovers can share their reviews and photos Zomato’s total funding comes to US$ 225 million which comes from a close set of four investors: Info Edge, Sequoia India, VY Capital and Temasek Holdings The Economic Times awarded Zomato as the Start-up of the Year in 2014

Kevin Systrom is an American entrepreneur and programmer, best known as the co-founder of Instagram with Mike Krieger Instagram is mobile photo sharing application and service that allows users to share pictures and videos on the service, as well as through variety of social networking platforms It was launched in 2010 as a free mobile application for the iOS mobile platform via the Apple App store and released for Android devices two years later in April 3, 2012 The service rapidly gained popularity, with over 100 million active users as of April 2012 and over 300 million as of December 2014 The service was acquired by Facebook in April 2012 for approximately US$ 1 billion in cash and stock In 2013, Instagram grew by 23% while Facebook, as the parent company, only grew by 3%

Jan Koum is an Ukrainian- American internet inventor and computer programmer. He is the CEO and co-founder of WhatsApp with Brian Acton, also a programmer and Internet entrepreneur WhatsApp Messenger is a freeware, cross-platform and end to end encrypted instant messaging application for smart phones. It was incorporated in 2009 by Brian Acton and Jan Koum, both former employees of Yahoo! At one point they applied for jobs at Facebook but were rejected in 2009 Five years later WhatsApp was acquired by Facebook in 2014 for approximately US$ 19.3 million By 2016, WhatsApp had the user base of over one billion, making it the most popular messaging application
