Technical Support Personnel – Michael Oropeza Key Responsibilities: Provide assistance in the technical implementation and administration of GIS, economic or population analysis, and research. Responsible for data collection, and literature reviews.

Administrative Support – Joanne Maglietta Key Responsibilities: Keep official records and assists the team by providing all administrative support to the department. Assist with distribution of plans and scheduling items proceeding through the development review process.

10 APPROACH TO CHAIRING THE DRC
Keeping the meeting on track Require all disciplines to provide comments prior to the meeting for review by Planning. Avoid internal questions. Planner distributes the comments and instructs reviewers to discuss their comments. After comments are reviewed, Planner summarizes the meeting and provides the next steps to the applicant. Ensuring our team efficiently “digests” the City Code and Comprehensive Plan Our team will thoroughly review the Code and Comprehensive Plan prior to the first DRC meeting to create a seamless transition from City Staff’s review to CGA’s review.

11 APPROACH TO CHAIRING THE DRC
Making adjustments in using the City’s accepted format Our team currently reviews plans in numerous municipalities. All have specific formats, guidelines and work flows that they require. CGA effortlessly adapts to the culture and philosophy of each municipality.

12 MEETING REQUIREMENTS AND PREPARATION
Planning and Zoning Board (PZB) and City Commission meetings will be attended by Robert Collins and Sarah Sinatra Gould will be a back up. However, all staff members may be present depending on the item and the City’s needs. We understand public meetings and are available to attend for the duration of the meeting. Preparation for PZB and City Commission meetings involve reviewing the application, discussing with City staff and having the code section available for potential questions. We prepare ourselves to answer questions by reviewing historical knowledge of a site, any land use or zoning question, questions from the public as well as the elected or appointed officials.

13 BUILDING PERMIT AND INSPECTION PHASES
CGA understands the need to confirm final inspections based on the approved site plan. We will track site plans on a spreadsheet to track process and final certificate of occupancy issuance.
