In 2013 the University of Kentucky went under an attempt to modernize the food and to better suit the students needs
$250 million partnership with Aramark to provide dining services to campus
New places added:
Common Grounds, Rising Roll Gourmet , Einstein Bros. Bagels, Greens to Go

4. Plus Account Flex Dollars Featured of UK WildCard Student ID
Flex Dollars can be used at any UK Dining location.
Flex Dollars come with the meal plan of your choice and the amount is based on what level plan you get
Parents and students can add Flex Dollars to an existing Meal Plan or Flex Plan
Resets after every academic school year
-The Plus Account is a debit program that is a feature of your UK WildCard Student ID.
- Widely used on campus and off campus for food, entertainment, bookstores, printing, copying, prescriptions, restaurant deliveries
- Funds may be deposited in whole dollar amounts at “Quick Deposit”, The Plus Account Office, Student Account Services, DART machines
- All Plus Account money is automatically carried forward semester to semester, and year to year, or may be refunded less a $5 processing fee

One meal swipe is the equivalent to $7
If you go over the $7, you can pay the rest with either money or flex dollars

K-Lair is a UK Tradition. Kentucky Proud is a key element of our menu with beef, chicken tenders, bread, and more produced right here in Kentucky. Another key element of our menu is making items in the restaurant with wholesome, seasonal ingredients like the Black Bean Burger, crisp garden salads, and fresh-cut fries.
