and responsibility for, its appearance.
Watch duties are activities children carry out twice a day to maintain a tidy centre. The idea of this is that children live at Chasewater so they take pride in, and responsibility for, its appearance. Sweeping and hovering the Mess Deck Cleaning dormitories Cleaning classrooms Picking up litter Cleaning the courtyard

Sleeping Arrangement Our school group is sleeping in dormitories
Girls and Boys are in separate dormitories Dorms have triple bunk beds. There will only be Thomas Russell children at the Centre The shower and toilet rooms have recently been refurnished. The school staff are placed in individual rooms next to the dormitories (but within the same building). Teachers are accessible during the night if required.
8
Activity groups The children will choose two or three friends and be place in Watches of 8-12 mixed boys and girls. Children can mix across the two classes in order to forge new friendships and strengthen old ones. For some activities two watches will combine, others will take place as a whole year group. The children will be given challenges to overcome and take on different roles and responsibilities throughout their visit.
