Overview God’s Calendar of Redemption
Passover pictures the death of Jesus, the perfect sacrifice – God is redeeming his people. Unleavened Bread pictures the sinless Jesus, ‘the bread of life’ from heaven – God is nourishing his people. Firstfruits foretold his resurrection on the third day – God is gaining his people. Pentecost predicted the coming of the Holy Spirit – God is empowering his people. The three autumn feasts (Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles) will be fulfilled at his second coming.

Overview God’s Calendar of Redemption
Trumpets – because Israel is a scattered people, they have to be gathered. Day of Atonement – because Israel is a sinful people, they need to be cleansed. Tabernacles – because Israel is a suffering people, they will be comforted in the millennial kingdom.
