Comprehensive Plan

2 VISION In partnership with the community, the schools are committed to inspiring in every student a passion for lifelong learning, personal well-being, and the skill sets of productive, engaged, globally-aware citizens.

3 Mission We are committed to instilling in our students
academic proficiency, the ability to think critically and creatively, effective communication,  global awareness, strategic problem solving, and responsible citizenship.

4 Goal Our overarching goal is to prepare every student for graduation ensuring that each student has mastered 21st Century Skills needed to be responsible, productive workers and citizens.

5 The Rappahannock Motto of Leadership “Lead, Inspire, Grow”
Focus How do we lead? We lead by developing leadership skills that promote the students’ understanding and acceptance of their environment, their classmates, and their responsibility to the world around them. How do we inspire? We inspire by becoming careful listeners, focusing our attention to the needs of our students and to the needs of our community so we can provide our students with a springboard for lifelong learning and acceptance of others through developmentally appropriate tasks. How do we grow? As educators, we need personal and professional relationships with our community, our students, their families, and our school family. Strong relationships evolve with careful and prescriptive doses of commitment, accountability, and respect for one another, focusing on common goals that are student centered.
