One of the fifteen Greek independent and self-administrated Applied Sciences Universities
Over active students Annually – students are enrolled in each of the Faculties Academic and administrative staff, are more than 300 people The permanent Academic Staff is encountered to 160 Professors The teaching staff is enriched with approximately 300 part time professors There are 25 Laboratories in Engineering School and 10 Laboratories in the School of Business and Economics

Piraeus University of Applied Sciences consists of 9 Departments, grouped in 2 Schools. There are 25 Postgraduate Programs at a Master’s level. There are also postgraduate programs that operate in collaboration with several Universities in the European area and the United States. Piraeus University of Applied Sciences offers PhD studies in collaboration with several Universities in Greece or in the European region.

BREAKING DOWN THE PROCEDURE
Step 1: Erasmus+ ICM Application Form & ID/Passport Step 2: Invitation Letter Step 3: Learning Agreement for Studies The applicant must fill in the data Final check and approval from PUAS (modules and ECTS selection) Return to the participant for signatures (applicant & Erasmus+ IR) Signed by PUAS Erasmus+ IR

Step 4: VISA All Visa expenses are covered by the program (upon receiving the receipt) The applicant contacts the nearest authorized Greek Embassy or Consulate to receive information regarding the necessary documents and procedure KEEP IN MIND: Start the Visa application ASAP (more than 1 month before the mobility)

Step 5: Insurance Expenses for the insurance are covered by the participant Health care insurance Personal accident coverage General liability for third party (where applicable) The insurance should be: Issued in home country Valid for the host country Valid for the whole period of the mobility Issued or translated in English

Step 6: Travel Ticket All participants are responsible for issuing their travel ticket The amount is constant no matter what transportation means the participant may use OR the price of the ticket In exceptional cases, PUAS will purchase the ticket on behalf of the participant and the cost of the ticket will be deducted from the total grant (any price differences are covered by the participant)

Step 7: Grant Agreement & Grant Transfer ALL of the previous documents are mandatory The participants have 2 options: Bank account in your HOME country (receive the grant before your arrival) Open a bank account in the HOST country (receive the grant after your arrival)

Step 7: Grant Agreement & Grant Transfer Both parties (the participant and PUAS authorities) sign the Grant Agreement before the participant’s departure. After the completion of the above, the process of transferring the 70% of the grant will be initiated.

ATTENTION! Students must KEEP THE BOARDING PASSES (going & returning) in order to send them to PUAS. 30% of the grant will be transferred after the mobility and the submission of the online EU survey. Certificate of Attendance & Transcript of Records are given to students at the last day of their mobility.
