2. Today we are going to learn:
Vocabulary connected to looking for jobs
The difference between ‘look for’ and ‘find’

3. Look for = you don’t know where something is, it is a process.
I don’t know where my keys are. I am looking for them everywhere.
Find = you already have what you wanted, it is a result.
After 30 minutes I found my keys in a fridge.

4. What kind of jobs are there?
Temporary job
Summer job
Odd jobs
Allie wants to find a temporary job for half a year to earn some extra money for a trip.
Full time job
Part time job
Hourly paid job
Sam found a great job, but he can only do part time because of his studies.

5. How do people look for jobs?
Look in newspapers and magazines

6. What can you do to get the job you want?

9. How did you get this job?
I was doing a teaching course and my tutor said that he knows about a vacancy in the British Council. I wrote an with my CV expressing interest in the position. Then I was invited to a job interview. After the interview I got a call and they said they liked me and wanted me to work for them.
